Getting About

"It's a wonderful service and we love it. I can go to town with my disabled wife. It's great to be able to get two weeks shopping at once and to have someone help her to the door".

Transport for carers and those you care for can sometimes be arranged by Adult Social Services or Children's Services so that you can get to the services they provide. Similarly, your GP practice can sometimes help with transport to hospital for the person you care for. It is always best to check first.
