Question: What help does Crossroads offer carers?

Question: Who do I contact if a care attendant from Crossroads or another agency doesn't turn up?

  • Your local Crossroads scheme or the agency concerned (if you know which one it is)

  • If you don't know contact Norfolk Social Services (either the Access team or the Emergency Duty Team if it is out of normal office hours)

  • If it is Crossroads and you don't know where your local scheme is based, contact the Norfolk Carers Helpline

Question: How are financial assessments for residential care carried out?

  • By Norfolk Social Services and they will be means tested. Social worker will give a financial assessment form to be completed. The Finance Department will assess how much will have to be paid and the balance will be met by Norfolk Social Services
